EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION:  Non-Exempt

 

REPORTS TO:      Coordination Manager

 

SUMMARY:  Coordinates construction scheduling, working as a team with the Project Field Supervisor and vendors, to ensure timely completion of new home construction.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the ordering of all material and supplies for new home construction.Schedules sub-contractors for each new home project.Orders all required inspections once specific individual projects are completed.Maintain daily updates for each project in Microsoft Project.Confirms with field supervisor the activity on every project at least 1 or 2 times daily.Reviews Permit packages on new starts. Call Sunshine for clearance on all underground digging.Call Electric Companies for temporary and permanent power.Create and fax all Purchase Orders for all projects (in Gemini system).

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Previous Construction experience REQUIRED!Microsoft Project experience a plus.  Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work on 15-20 homes in different phases of construction at one time.BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH
