Construction Cost Estimator

U.S. COST, a leading provider of project control and cost estimating services to the A/E and construction community, is seeking Construction Cost Estimators. 

 

Of immediate need are Construction Cost Estimators in Miami.  For that position:

 

Candidates should be able to:

 Provide estimating support for heavy civil related projects or electrical and specialty systems. Prepare conceptual cost estimates Evaluate A/E construction cost estimates for heavy civil related projects. Provide estimating support for Design/Engineering Department as requested. Prepare order of magnitude estimate for change orders Evaluate contractor?s proposals for change orders Provide negotiation support to Resident Engineer as requested. Provide estimating support for the Construction Department as requested.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MIAMI POSITION

 

Minimum 5-10 years of directly related experience in heavy civil estimating for airports and/or heavy construction projects over $10 million. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Computer skills are essential.

 

B.A. in an engineering discipline is desired.
