Construction Manager, estimator, project manager

Job Purpose:

Project manage  construction and renovation by preparing estimates, bid documents, supervising staff and  project close out procedures

 

Duties:

*Prepares construction projects by preparing and verifying estimates, project drawings and specifications; establishing and disseminating schedules; award contracts; obtaining, obtain bids from sub contractors, specifying of materials and supplies.

 

*Completes construction projects by directing construction requirements; comparing construction results to plans; scheduling in house work force; coordinating sub contractors;scheduling inspections; resolving problems

 

* Provides construction progress report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing construction and budget data  and trends.

 

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

 

Skill/Qualifications:

Project Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Developing Standards, People Management, Client Interfacing Skills, Documentation Skills, Problem Solving, Estimating, Customer Service, Safety management, Computer literacy  with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, AIA Electronic format are all preferred
