Construction Managers/Supervisors

Our client in Hackensack, NJ is looking for Construction Managers and Construction Supervisors for a 6 month assignment, perhaps longer with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position. The Cons. Mgr. position will pay about $35 per hour plus overtime and a monthly allowance for a car. The Const. Sup. wil pay about $30 per hour plus OT.
Wireless experience is a must and UMTS a big plus.
7-10 years of Wireless CONSTRUCTION Experience is a must-actual experience building the cell sites. They will be going cell site to cell site.
Direct on-site responsibility for construction activities for a given number of sites. Coordinates construction scheduling and communication and acts as a liaison to project management concerning bids, subcontracting, progress and delays. May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials, and purchase orders. Leads and directs the work of others.

May require a bachelor?s degree with at least 5 years of management level experience in the telecommunication and/or construction field. Requires technical knowledge to assist staff and contractors. Working knowledge of a variety of the field construction concepts, practices, and procedures. Has knowledge of safety guidelines and commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
