As a Construction Project Manager for The United Group, you will be an important member of the team that manages construction and reports directly to the VP of Development and will provide on-site management. You will be responsible for overseeing project organization, scheduling, implementation and completion. The preferred candidate will have extensive experience with all phases of multi-family and commercial construction, preferably as a contractor or a clerk of the works; code knowledge; estimating abilities; and strong abilities to value engineer products to cost, means and methods. Candidate must possess excellent customer service, verbal, written, and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities. Requires computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office, the internet, and spreadsheet applications. Primary responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager include: represent the Owner/Developer at on-site meetings; perform daily inspections of construction sites and evaluate progress; submit daily reports, including taking photographs to document progress; work with the Owner/Developer's consultants and ensure scope of work and ensure the timely completion of work and assignments; and assist with resolving issues and problems in an efficient cost effective manner.
