Construction Project Manager - Facilities

Seeking highly motivated Project Manager responsible for executing facilities related projects within the National Capital Region. Also responsible for defining the goals of these projects in terms of scope, time and cost; and through the use of established processes, experience and expertise, manage the design and construction of the project in conformance with these goals. May be responsible for one or more of the following: Establish scope of and budget for the work through estimating; establish practical project time, ensuring all parties understand the goals previous to start of design; Provide proper analysis to the Owner of the bids received with a recommendation for selection of suppliers; Establish communication procedures and filing for projects and set up appropriate tracking of necessary approvals; Establish meeting procedures and timetables for those meetings; Ensure project documentation is accurate and coordinated; Ensure that drawings are coordinated so that appropriate scope is defined; Review all requests for information, change requests, etc. and where appropriate issue appropriate response.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Skills: Required Skills: 6 years Facilities Planning experience or any similar combination of education and experience required. Must be detail-oriented, analytical and computer literate. Must posses knowledge and understanding of construction practices/techniques, project controls and building support systems. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability. Must be customer oriented and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
