Construction Project Manager - Industrial Experience

We are looking for Project Managers with 10 ? 15 years experience in industrial construction for our Chicago office.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

The successful candidate will have a professional attitude and a strong commercial awareness, able to deal directly and communicate effectively with clients and other Faithful+Gould staff both verbally and in writing. 

You will possess a degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or Architecture and will 10 - 15 years of Project Management experience on medium to large construction projects.

 

You will also possess:
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent project and time management skills
Excellent negotiations skills
Ability to deal successfully with various personalities and all levels of management
Thorough knowledge of available resources both external and internal
Working knowledge of cost analysis and decision-making skills
Experience of various Project Delivery Methods and their appropriate application
Understanding of Industrial operations a plus

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with Owners, Design team and contractors
Running of design and projects meetings
Writing and issuance of minutes and reports
Review and approve applications for payment
Change order review
Scheduling
Procurement/bidding
FF&E management
Possible Site based opportunities
