Job Description:

 

An East Bay grading and paving contractor has an immediate opening for a construction superintendent position.  The applicant must possess construction experience, be self-motivated, and exhibit excellent communication, writing and people skills.  Responsibilities will include on and off-site project management, including scheduling, subcontractors, resolving problems on the job site and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. 

 

Qualifications:

 

-  Minimum 5 years construction experience in field supervision

-  Mange projects from $500-$5 million range

-  Able to manage and report on multiple projects

-  Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

-  Attention to detail and accuracy in all paperwork & accounting

-  Knowledge of  good accounting and record keeping skills

-  Administer contracts and change orders

-  Create, maintain and update record books, spreadsheets and reports for construction projects

-  Maintain field safety procedures
