Construction Supervisor

ThyssenKrupp Elevator, a subsidiary of an international conglomerate, is an industry leader in the manufacturing, installation and service of elevators, escalators and moving sidewalks. 


The Cranford, NJ branch is seeking an experienced professional to assist in the management of our Construction Department.  The Construction Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all construction projects are completed on time and within budget.  Duties include directing the work of mechanics & mechanic?s helpers; monitoring new and existing construction contracts; assisting crews at the job sites when necessary; and monitoring supplies & equipment.


Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED.  A college degree is preferred but equivalent work experience in the elevator or compatible industry is acceptable.  Excellent customer service and conflict management skills.  Good written and oral communication skills.  Strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension skills.  Good MS Office skills.  Elevator industry experience a plus.
