Contracts Administrator - HomeBuilder

One of the fastest growing real estate firms has a great opportunity in their homebuilding division for an experienced Contracts Administrator.

 

Contract Administrator shall be involved in the entire contracting process with the assistance of the Purchasing Director.  Candidates should be experienced in preparing schedules of values, reviewing proposals from subcontractors and suppliers, qualifying the subcontractors and suppliers and verifying that they have the complete scope of work established by the Purchasing Director.  Processing of contract documents requires the development of internal authorizations before the actual contract is prepared in the standard contract.  Data entryof contracts, change and purchase orders and reading of contracts on a pre-bid basis, ordering bonds and insurance for projects upon award of contracts.Must be strong in both Microsoft Word and Excel. The successful candidate MUST have previous contract administration experience in a residential and/or home building construction environment and be familiar with contract language found in construction contracts.
