Job Description
Compile and present to senior management total annual capital and project specific capital budgets for new stores and renovations. Provide appropriate departments with project information (new & remodels) and solicit budget information for CPR approval. Interface with Policy and Procedures Department to implement guidelines related to the new process.

Prepare preliminary cost models for Real Estate analysis. Prepare new store and special project CPR budgets. Prepare renovation CPR budgets in both menu format for management and a standard CSI format for construction tracking.
Manage the drawing review process to highlight conflicting scope and detail from the lease requirements to drawing criteria and scope. Ensure compliance with approved budget and design standardization. Oversee the accuracy of specifications and contract documentation. Negotiate projects and value engineer to meet budget criteria. Maintain files of working documents for backup to estimates and bid analysis. Compile and report final project costs and itemized breakdowns/details. Maintain and develop cost models for each concept.



Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience required. Requires five to seven years of experience in construction estimating. Strong background in cost control, material take off and pricing. Negotiating and Value-Engineering experience. Strong PC and database skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills to assess trends and cost relationships.
