Crane Operator / Genesis Shear Operator

Our Tampa, Florida recycling yard is seeking an experienced Crane Operator / Genesis Shear Operator.

 

This is an outside position in a fast paced high pressure environment and will require some hands on labor. Primary duties include preparation of scrap steel utilizing a Genesis Shear, Rail Car loading, and Customer Unloading.

 

The Crane Operator / Genesis Shear Operator should possess the following qualifications: Team player, Safety driven, general mechanical aptitude and the ability to work some overtime and some Saturdays.

Recycling

The Recycling segment, which operates as the CMC Recycling Division, is one of the country?s largest processors of nonferrous scrap metals and one of the largest regional processors of ferrous scrap metals in the U.S.  Nonferrous scrap processing capacity is 530,000 tons; ferrous scrap processing capacity is 3.0 million tons.

 

We conduct our recycling operations through metal processing plants located in the states of Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.
