DISPATCHER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Dispatcher will schedule deliveries and coordinate trucks on a daily basis; ensure the timely delivery of the product and notify customers of status and delivery changes; maintain constant communication with location supervisors regarding any issues which may impact meeting the schedule; maintain contact with drivers and monitors their status; respond to sales inquiries from C.O.D. customers and other duties as assigned.

 Experience: 1-3 years solid dispatch experience required; construction industry knowledge preferred.  Skills:  Good communication, organizational, problem solving skills and attention to detail.  Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast paced environment.  Must be proficient in using a PC and have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
