Data Warehouse Developer w/ C# Experience

Position: Data Warehouse Developer Developer

Team is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer with C# experience.  This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.  This candidate will work under the guidance of the lead architect to develop an enterprise data warehouse as a foundation for an operations management system.  Responsibilities include:Gather business and analytical requirements from various business organizations.Design, implementation, and administration of the physical and logical architecture and components that comprise the Enterprise Data Warehouse, along with associated Reporting applications and tools.Creation of the logical and physical data models, ETL infrastructure and reporting architecture to support the business requirements.Design, development, and implementation of the ETL, data models, OLAP, and reports necessary to support business requirements.Development and execution of quality control procedures and best practices to ensure the data warehouse is accurate and secure.Provide on-going administration and support of the data warehouse, including related reporting systems, as well as user and security administration, performance tuning, backup/recover design, and application installation and upgrades.Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and methods for enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting. Assume a lead role in tasking & tutoring junior team members.  Additionally, the candidate will provide SQL Server expertise to other development efforts.

 

This is a small and casual development environment that is in the early stages of developing enterprises solution in C# Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005.

 Required SkillsAbility to design, develop, test and maintain Microsoft SQL Server tables, views, procedures, functions, etc.  A proven history of database analysis and design is essential for this position.Ability to design and develop an enterprise Data Warehouse, along with the supporting ETL infrastructure.Manage the performance of the Data Warehouse, and ETL production processes.Ability to understand (or infer) data relationships, reverse-engineer data sources, and verify the accuracy of data.Develop, test & deploy end-user reporting tools.Experience designing and manipulating OLAP domains.

 Required Experience3+ years of data warehouse and ETL development experience, using MS SQL Server.3+ years of application development experience, using .NET & C#.1+ years working with Crystal Reports.
