Deere Construction Equipment Shop Foreman

 

Nortrax, a leading John Deere heavy construction equipment dealer, has an immediate opening for a Service Supervisor in our Ft. Myers, Fl.  facility.

 

Summary of Primary Functions:  Maintains a schedule of shop work, assigns personnel to specific work orders, and gives work direction to Service Technicians in the repair of equipment, or maintains a schedule of field service work to be done and schedules personnel for such. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include some or all of the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 Assists with supervising all Service Department personnel Assists in the opening and closing of work orders for control of each shop job Maintains and monitors detailed records of time and performance of Service employees Monitors and schedules pick-up and delivery of equipment Orders and maintains needed shop supplies Assists in interviewing and selecting qualified personnel Acts as site safety supervisor in conjunction with Service Manager Monitors training needs and provides for the delivery of such training as required
