JOB DESCRIPTION Project Engineer / Design Engineer

PERI Formwork Systems is the largest supplier of formwork and shoring systems for the concrete construction industry worldwide. The company currently employees approx. 4000 people in more than 50 countries worldwide.

For our Texas office located in Fort Worth, TX, we are looking for Civil or Mechanical Engineering graduates to become Design or Project Engineers for Formwork, Shoring and Scaffolding.

The Design / Project Engineer's most important task is to develop the most cost-effective formwork, shoring or scaffolding solutions for various kinds of concrete construction projects. These solutions are based on PERI's 30 standard product systems that range from straight wall formwork for retaining walls to sophisticated self-climbing systems used in the construction of the highest buildings in the world.

Approximately 75% of the work is design using AutoCAD. The balance of your time is spent performing site service on job sites or supporting Sales Engineers with client presentations (self-performing General Contractors and Concrete Subcontractors).

Extensive training is provided, including seminars in Germany. Therefore, PERI is looking for individuals who are interested in a challenging position that requires flexibility, responsibility and self-motivated individuals with good communication skills. Career possibilities are available.
