Diagnostic Electrician, Elect/Inst

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate strong safety attitude and maintain safe work habits at all times.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or instrumentation controls.
- Design; install new electrical and/or instrumentation circuits according to the National Electric Code.
- Able to provide regular attendance, shift-work if necessary, and work overtime.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.

**Successful candidates may be eligible for financial relocation assistance up to $8000 (Lump sum less applicable taxes)**

Minimum Requirements:

- Excellent safety and attendance records with no active disciplinary action.
- Successful completion of a State Certified Apprenticeship or 5 years equivalent training and education.
- Demonstrate knowledge of computer hardware and software related concepts.
- Ability to use all resources to complete work- i.e. - technical manuals, schematics, one-line drawings, loop drawings, and P&ID drawings.
- Ability to work shifts and schedules including overtime and call-outs.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot, direct, coordinate and complete work with minimal supervision.
- Function as a high performance team member; work with other departments, and vendors.
- Working knowledge of bending and installing conduit.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Completed Observer training or equivalent
- Completed DDI and teams training or equivalent
- Modicon PLC and Concept software experience
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI and related control equipment
- MIMS and Outlook computer skills
- AVO/ESM Training
- Variable Frequency Drive experience
