Director of Forward Planning
An established Inland Empire area home builder has an immediate need for an experienced Director of Forward Planning who will be responsible for preparing budgets, schedules and ELC packages. The individual will be primarily involved with coordinating entitlement, design and engineering issues. Experience should include a blend of organizing and managing the forward planning activities to effectively move the projects from land acquisition to start of construction in order to meet business plan goals. Duties will also include monitoring the scope, schedule and budget of all design activities and report any deviation from the approved business plan.
This is an exceptional opportunity for growth and the ability to make a difference. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
-Undergraduate degree required
-A minimum of 5 years home building in land development and entitlement of projects experience required
-Experience in managing complex projects and large land development budgets required
-Must be computer literate with experience using Excel spreadsheets
-Ability to read and understand plans, entitlement, land acquisition agreements, etc.
-Excellent communication skills
