Director of Human Resources

THE #1 COMMERCIAL RE-ROOFING COMPANY IN SOUTH FLORIDA IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED HR DIRECTOR FOR ITS FAST GROWING, FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT.

Position Title:  Director-Human Resources

 

Reporting to: CFO

 

Job Description:

Hands on development, planning and supervision of all human resource functions including training, development, budgeting, performance appraisal systems and benefits administration. Develop and implement all Human Resource standards and procedures. Assure compliance with relevant regulations.  Manage recruiter position.

 

Duties:

Maintains organizational staff by managing the development of effective recruiting, testing and interviewing programs; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting exit interviews and recommending improvements in related practices;

 

Conducts and/or coordinates new employee orientation and training programs;

 

Develops and manages employee retention initiatives and programs.

 

Develops and maintains the annual compensation plan for non-professional/non-managerial employees;

 

Maintain and communicate employee benefit programs;

 

Maintain human resource records system.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years Human Resource management experience;

Undergraduate degree in relevant field;

High level of energy, creativity and independent thinking;

SPHR/PHR designation preferred;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Excellent computer skills;

Fluency in Spanish preferred;

Familiarity with construction business a plus.
