District Manager

DESCRIPTIONOur client, a prestigious tool manufacturer in business since 1939, seeks a District Manager in the Houston, Tx area. They are looking to fill this position ASAP!!!!

Essential Job Functions: Work with distributors to add value to their business and be a business partner. Report progress to Regional Manager through sales reports, meetings and conference calls. Increase distribution channels by sourcing and bringing individuals into a distributorship. Work closely with these individuals at start to ensure they have proper understanding of business, customers and product line. Conduct monthly Field Excellence Meeting with the district to discuss best practices. Provide weekly coaching calls. Run weekly conference calls with the distributors. Execute all company initiatives.REQUIREMENTS3-5 years sales experience. 2 years sales management experience. Recruiting/Training experience required. Must be able to recruit and train new employees. Willingness to work 50+ hours per week and willing to travel 2-3 nights per week in the district
