Drafter I

White Castle Management Co. has an immediate opening at the Home Office for a Drafter I. The basic purpose of this position is to provide drafting knowledge and skills as a means to implement the building and site designs of the architect and engineering staff. This person is responsible for translating those designs to ?paper? in the most efficient and accurate manner possible and for providing feedback to the architect and engineering staff in an effort to refine the plans development process with the results that our plans will be clear, accurate, and timely. This is a key support role as it provides the feedback necessary to reduce the time and effort required to develop building and site plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all fields of engineering, construction, architecture, surveying, and drafting. Training in AutoCad is essential. Must have a good working knowledge of construction methods and design principals, the ability to multitask as well as make decision on plans in a timely manner, good personal computer skills, good communication skills and be an effective team player.
