Drywall Cost Estimator

 

An established and successful dry wall company in the St. Louis area is looking for an experienced full time Cost Estimator to join our growing company.  The position will prepare commercial bids related to metal studs, acoustical ceilings, dry wall taping, and insulation with responsibility in analyzing blueprints to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates for general contractors.  Additional tasks include: Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.  Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.  Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, and selecting vendors or subcontractors.  Review material and labor requirements. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation for the duration of the project. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.

 The successful candidate will have a solid background in the construction industry, with extensive experience in drywall cost estimating.  Computer skills are a must and experience with estimating software such as EDGE is a plus.  Please contact Sarah at sarahc@hrcounts.com .
