Electrician, Commercial

JOB TITLES:  Apprentice Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, Leadman Electrician and Foreman Electrician

 

Basic Job Responsibilities:

Installation, repair and trouble shooting of commercial electrical system(s).

 

Journeymen & Apprentice Electrician Duties:

* Installation, repair and trouble shooting of commercial electric, as per drawings and code.

* Maintain a safe and productive project site.

* Bend conduit, pull wire, assemble and install fixtures, distribution etc..

 

Leadmen Electrician Duties:

* All duties found under Journeymen & Apprentice.

* Assist foreman in layout, safety and code requirements. 

* Assist foreman in maintaining a productive workplace.

* Assist Foreman in supervising electricians and electrical installation.

 

Foremen Duties:

* All duties found under Leadmen, Journeymen & Apprentice.

* Read project blueprints, review project specifications, lay out work each day and run job in safe and cost effective manner.

* supervise electricians and electrical installation.

* maintain code & county requirements.

* work and schedule project with superintendents, other trades, and inspectors.

* communicate with Tioga Office on change orders, men's hours, materials, equipment and project in general.
