Excavation/Construction Superintendent-Site Manager

EXCAVATION

 

Due to expansion, MetroWest Excavation Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent/Site Manager .

Minumum 7 years experience in controlling and supervising fast paced excavation work.  Road construction, mass excavation, utilities, drainage, rock crushing, residential and commercial foundation experience also required.

Demonstrated ability to properly schedule work force, implement daily update schedule, inspection of work performed, ability to read blueprints, grade structures, work with inspectors required.  Also, must have the ability to manage and account for budget expenses, change orders, keep inventories, work with engineers and surveyors, use purchase orders and review personnel for performance evaluations.

Candidates must be computer oriented in scheduling, estimating and project management.  Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel and Access helpful.
