Experienced Home Theater Service Technician

Dallas Sight and Sound, Inc., an innovative provider of custom high quality audio, video, communication, lighting control, and integrated systems, has career opportunities for highly motivated Installation and Service Technicians who are interested in being part of our service oriented team.

 

Only those with 3-5+ years experience in residential A/V installation need apply

 

Qualified applicants will be experienced in the installation, troubleshooting, and service of low voltage residential audio, video, telephone, and lighting systems. Knowledge of Crestron, AMX, Lutron, Runco, Sony, Yamaha, Panasonic, Vodavi, and Meridian systems a major consideration. Ideal applicants will have 3-5+ years in all areas of installation, from pre-wire to final installation.

 

Requirements:

3-5 years specific residential A/V installation experience (confirmable ? we check references)

3 years specific experience in A/V system setup and troubleshooting

2 years specific experience in AMX, Crestron, and Pronto programming

1year specific experience in home WIFI networking

Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment

Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel

Strong work ethic, professional attitude and appearance

Outstanding communication skills

Self motivated to improve both personally and professionally

Possess valid Texas driver?s license and have an excellent driving record

High school diploma or equivalent
