FIELD ENGINEER - CIVIL / INDUSTRIAL - CHICAGO AREA

Kiewit Eastern District is seeking FIELD ENGINEERS to work in the Chicago Area.

Kiewit Eastern District covers the heavy civil construction markets of the Northeast and Great Lakes region.  Our work includes industrial plants (ethanol),  tunnels, reservoirs, bridges, bridge structure rehabilitation, rail stations, deep foundations and marine work.  We offer the opportunity to work on complex heavy civil projects in the center of worldwide commerce. 

 

Field Engineers duties include construction engineering, cost control, form or shoring design, quantity tracking, scheduling, safety management, purchasing and construction supervision of work.

 

Qualifications required:

 2 - 5 years of Heavy/ Civil Construction experience

 Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree

 Strong organization and time management skills

 Strong work ethic -  willing to do what it takes to get the job done
