Facilities & Construction Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities & Construction Manager to join our expanding bank.  As a Facilities & Construction  Manager, the successful candidate will:

 Perform progress inspections for residential construction loans.Review commercial construction funding requests and progress inspections made by architects and/or engineers.Review documentation on job sites and in files to authorize release of funds for residential and commercial construction loans.Oversee the maintenance of bank facilities through the performance of some tasks and management of vendors to accomplish others.Obtain bids from interested vendors for the performance of bank facility maintenance and make recommendations to management.Coordinates the due diligence process for branch sites under contract and report findings to Directors/Facilities Committee.Works with architects and engineers to obtain development orders and building permits for bank facilities.Oversee bidding process and recommend general contractors for the construction of bank facilities.Represent the bank in the negotiation of contracts with general contractors, engineers, and other vendors related to the construction of bank facilities.Actively work with the general contractor, architect and engineer during the construction of bank facilities to maintain structural integrity while attempting to reduce project costs.

 

To qualify, you should have 5 to 8 years experience in the construction business in an active management role and familiarity with financials.  Home/construction inspection experience preferred.
