Field Representative 16325

Job Description: Function as Owner's Representative supervising the performance of construction for multiple projects, maintaining schedule and budget, attending pre and post bid scope reviews and constructability reviews on projects in design phases, evaluating project drawings and schedules to optimize Owner's benefit. Assist contractor in scheduling utilities, develop schedules of values, review long lead items and purchasing of Owner furnished items with planner, monitor for building code compliance and safety, ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans, specifications and approved submittals while acting as liaison between team members, contractors and operators ensuring coordination of all trades to complete project on schedule. Generate and review daily field reports, review pay applications, track and follow up on requests for information, prepare punch lists and monitor completion, and work with Project Management to secure a Certificate of Occupancy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)

Associate's degree in a related field and three years of Construction Supervision experience or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of Construction/Maintenance Supervision experience or a Journeyman's license

Proven experience with various types of renovation projects

Proven working knowledge of project management process and construction contracting

Demonstrated strong blueprint reading skills

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to generate/forecast construction schedules

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Construction Management degree or equivalent

Valid Building or General Contractors license

Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment
