Fire Sprinkler Designer

Sunland Fire Protection, Inc. has been protecting people and investments with great service for over 24 years. We are a full service licensed, bonded, and insured automatic fire sprinkler contractor. We are qualified to design, fabricate, install, inspect, and service systems, including the certification and inspection of back flow devices. We offer the most advanced fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, fire pumps and tanks. We cover the map literally, with licenses in fourteen states dedicated to fulfilling contractors, owners, and developers of commercial, industrial, residential and institutional structures needs. Currently we are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer.



Job Requirements:


The ideal candidate will possess a degree from an accredited college/technical school, or at least three to five years experience as a Fire Protection Sprinkler Designer.  In addition, the individual must be a self starter with good organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, strong personal attributes, excellent PC skills and the demonstrated ability to be a "team player" with a "can do" attitude.

 

Job Description:

As a member of our Design Team you will be responsible for analyzing the flow and pressure requirements of sprinkler systems to insure compliance, the layout of fire protection piping systems, perform hydraulic calculations, field surveys, stocklisting, job site visits and provide field labor support.
