ELECTRICAL FOREMAN/Superintendent - Positons across the US can be located anywhere

 

Description:

An Electrical Foreman is directly responsible for the supervision of his or her crewmembers in a designated area of the construction project. An Electrical Foreman will coordinate the activities that his or her employees are engaged in and must be familiar with:

Scope of the Project Area

Layout of area

National Electric Code

Installation of material

Repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, and apparatus and control equipment

Training Culture

Company policies and standards

 

Major Responsibilities

Plans new or modified installations to effectively and efficiently construct or repair wiring, fixtures or equipment

Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers

Assist with the Apprenticeship

Training Program

Interprets company policy and enforces safety

Review schedule and estimate work-hour requirements

Analyze and resolve employee conflicts

 

Major Skills

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Interpret specification, blueprints and job orders as needed

What you can expect

50-60 hours per week (Hourly Position with overtime after 40 hours)

Job Requirements:

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Capable of leading up to 3 Crew Leader Teams.  Involved in the Apprenticeship Training Program and instilling a training culture.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Extensive travel through out the lower 48 states.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Completion of the Interstates skills assessment test and/or  has a valid states or city Journeyman?s License.  Must be a trainer.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Can read and understand drawings, specifications and schematics.  Can communicate effectively with other team members to accomplish the goals of each projec
