Frontier Homes is seeking experienced and energetic Forward Planners/Project Managers in the Antelope Valley area for Palmdale/Lancaster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

 Coordinate and review the work of various disciplines (scope of work, project requirements, project timeline): Architect, Civil Engineer, Landscape Architect, Utility Consultant, Soils Engineer, Environmental Scientists and other professionals. Coordinate plan check submittals with the architect, civil engineer, structural engineer and landscape architect. Represent Company with various jurisdictional staff: City, County, Water Districts, etc. relative to plan approval. Prepare and track project development and submittal schedules. Resolve site specific constraints, municipal requirements and determine sales disclosures. Perform due diligence of land deals. Prepare preliminary analysis for potential acquisitions. Review and comment on Conditions of Approval and other project documents, as necessary. Conduct site visit(s) Ensure that all information impacting design and construction is communicated to all team members. Maintain project plan files and review for accuracy and completeness.

 

Requirements:Minimum three years experience in land development and entitlement of projects.Engineering and/or homebuilding experience required. Familiarity with planning and zoning concepts and development processes. Experience working with state and local governmental agencies. Thorough understanding of residential construction, municipality relations, plan reading, the permitting process and procedure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative skills, working with diverse teams and external entities to accomplish project goals. Demonstrated ability for multi-tasking and meeting simultaneous deadlines. Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills.  Computer skills a plus. Team player with strong work ethic able to work with a variety of personality types. Motivated by high level of accountability; results oriented
