General Maintenance Technician III

Description:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician III possesses the following knowledge: the ability to perform journeyman level facility maintenance on a wide variety of buildings and systems; the ability to independently inspect, analyze, and perform corrective maintenance actions and repairs; the ability to read and follow general drawings and instructions; the ability to perform complex facility installations and maintenance; the ability to input time into computer maintenance management systems and navigate to all fields that are applicable; willingly perform other duties as directed by the section's supervisor. The position will report to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Working independently performs complex facility installations and maintenance tasks. Performs facility troubleshooting and repairs. Frequently responsible for performing independent analysis of facility problems and implementation of corrective actions. Able to train lower level technicians in various maintenance tasks. Expected to perform all duties in accordance with company and site safety standards.

Qualifications:
Certificate from two-year college or technical school
