General Manager

Growing plumbing company seeks candidate with purchasing, inventory, project management, accounting, asset management, customer service and personnel experience for our expanding business.Plumbing or construction experience with a proven track record for increasing profitability required.  We are located in northwest Houston, near Willowbrook Mall.

 

Responsibilities will include:

Coordinate departments and daily operations within the company to increase efficiency and profitability. 

Coordinate purchase, maintenance and use of vehicles, equipment, tools and materials.

Evaluate personnel, management and systems; make recommendations; and implement necessary changes.

Effectively and productively communicate with personnel for positive growth.

Analyze and budget for future needs.

Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers.

Keep up with new products and pricing.

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in comparable position.

Experience with residential and commercial, service and construction plumbing.

Knowledge of local and national suppliers.

Working knowledge of computerized accounting, inventory and project management software, preferably American Contractor.

Commitment to the success of the team.

 

Salary commensurate with experience.  Paid holidays, vacation, health insurance and pension plan available.
