Golf Course Construction Superintendents

National Golf Course Construction Company is looking to hire 3 Sr. Construction Project Superintendents.  Our company has been in business for 20 years completing many golf course construction and renovation projects throughout the U.S.  The company currently has projects underway in Montana, Colorado, Tennessee, Maryland, Missouri, and Wisconsin. 

 

The site superintendent is directly responsible for daily operations of construction activity, all field personnel, daily staffing needs, coordination of any subcontractors, weekly reports, appointment of team leaders, communication with project manager, plan review, communication and coordination with local inspectors and developers, contract management and change orders, progress tracking and weekly billing. The site superintendent maintains as-built information on all aspects of course completion, including but not limited to clearing, tees, greens and fairways. The site superintendent will also work closely with the future maintenance and ?grow-in? superintendent.

 

Must be able to read and interpret civil construction and golf course construction plans, estimate necessary manpower and equipment demands, manage production cycles and labor requirements. Must understand grade and have a strong knowledge of general excavation practices and heavy equipment operations with general machine operator abilities.  Knowledge and experience in golf course construction is essential. Should be willing and able to travel and live in various locations for extended periods of time.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
