HVAC Project Manager

 

American Mechanical Services (AMS) is a dynamic organization (www.amsofusa.com) focused on serving the commercial, industrial and institutional property owners and managers through a strategic partnership by assisting them in the long-term management of their HVAC/R systems in their facilities.

AMS is currently seeking a HVAC Project Manager in the Phoenix, AZ location.

Duties include:

?  Managing projects through completion to insure on time and on budget completion to include preparation and monitoring project schedules, hiring and managing subcontractors, purchase and scheduling of equipment and materials, preparation of submittals, schedule of values and invoicing, recognizing and securing change orders.  Project Manager may be required to develop project estimates and to assist in other pre-sale activities


Qualifications:

?  Ability to understand project documents, drawings and specifications.

?  Ability to recognize ?value engineering? opportunities when they present themselves.

?  Experience working with computerized project management software (CAD)

?  Must be knowledgeable in construction codes, labor law and OSHA requirements.

?  Educational/experience requirements are either at least 6 years in a construction environment with at least 2 years of supervisory experience OR a two or four year technical degree with at least 4 years experience in a construction environment, including at leas 2 years of supervisory experience.

?  Excellent interpersonal skills that will be employed when dealing with our Customers, Suppliers and Co-workers.
