HVAC Service Technician

Damuth Services, Inc., an independent franchise of The Trane Company located in Chesapeake, Virginia, is seeking full time HVAC Service Technicians (both entry level and experienced) for our Service Department.

Normal Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

Position Description:

To provide customers with quality technical service in keeping with our Company Mission Statement.
To provide job planning and estimating support.
To provide sales support.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide a high level of technical expertise in the following areas:
Rooftop and split systems, building automation and air side equipment.

Education & Experience:

Experience in servicing commercial air conditioning systems preferred
Building Automation System experience a plus
Must pass a written skills test (administered by our Company)
Universal CFC card required (exception made for entry level technicians)
Journeyman?s card a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required

Special Skills:

Working knowledge of DOS and/or Windows PC operating systems a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate with others both written and orally
Able to lift and carry 100 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
Willing to travel up to 10%
Valid drivers license and excellent driving record required
Mobility within the office and on work site.

Employment Eligibility Requirements:

Able to pass respiratory test
Able to pass drug screening
Prove U.S. employment eligibility
