Highway Maintenance Inspector

Our project headquartered in Richmond/Petersburg VA provides maintenance for over 100 miles of  Interstate I95 from North Caolina border North to Kings Dominion Exit. Our Highway Maintenance Inspector works independently in managing the full maintenance/repair cycle to identify roadway maintenance needs, prepare contracts, identify contractors and inspect work.  They also assist Engineers, work with information databases, budgeting, employee training and deal with client and sub-contractor relations.

Ideal candidate has VDOT or DOT experience and training or related roadway construction experience, strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills; some supervisory experience and excellent PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.  A great driving record is required and you must successfully pass criminal background check.
