Description Energy Raters are responsible for assessing the performance of residential structures. Performance testing runs the gamut from basic blower-door testing to determine air-tightness to complete HVAC diagnostics and infrared thermography. Field personnel work closely with builder field personnel to correct deficiencies. This job is perfect for someone who likes working in both a field and and an office environment.

EnergyLogic is an accredited Home Energy Rating System (HERS) provider and trainer working with a variety of programs both national and local. Information gathered in the field is processed with energy modeling software and reports are sent to clients outlining findings and recommending improvements when appropriate.

The goal of EnergyLogic work is to be part of a builder?s team assisting them in building more energy-efficient, comfortable and durable homes for their clients.

EnergyLogic employees work as a team to provide our clients the best service possible. Continuous coordination with office staff is a key part of ensuring that information flows properly to our clients. Continuous improvement in skills and knowledge is integral to success in our company.

Experience While desirable, knowledge of residential construction is not required. Successful applicants will be trained by EnergyLogic staff, and will receive accreditation as certified Energy Raters.

Compensation Salary is between $33K and $45K depending on experience.
Benefits include Health Reimbursement Arrangement ($3600 yr), matching 401(k), and other benefits.
Paid time-off for full time employment is four weeks per year and customary holidays.
