Housing Quality Standards Inspector
Our client is looking for a Housing Quality Standard Inspector who will perform Housing Quality Standards Inspections including initial inspections, annual re-certification inspections, interim inspections and all re-inspections of failed units.
Assure that section 8 program participants have a safe, decent place to live by conducting inspections consistently
Remain familiar and current with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Federal Regulations, state and local building codes as they relate to the Section 8 Housing programs.
Some computer knowledge required
High school graduate plus 2 years experience in related field
Basic knowledge of NC State and local Building Codes
Excellent communication skills required
Customer service skills
Mediation skills as plus
valid driver's license required
