REPORTS TO:  Project Operations Manager

STATUS:  Full Time Regular, Non-Exempt

 

RHA will conduct a three-year project which provides personalized energy management services to assist hard-to-reach, and small nonresidential Pacific Gas and Electric Company customers to reduce energy consumption and energy-related costs. The project will be conducted on nonresidential buildings within the Fresno City Limits. This project is funded to last for three years and must be completed by the end of December 2006.

 

Responsibilities

 

Under general oversight of the Project Operations Manager, assist Installation Technician II with installation of cost-effective energy savings measures in non-residential buildings. The package of measures to be installed includes: screw-in CFLs, LED Exit Signs, hardwired T-8/electronic ballasted fluorescent fixture replacement of T-12/magnetic ballasted fluorescent fixtures. The package of measures may be modified as appropriate for the facility.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

1. Assist with the installation of measures per program installation standards.

2. Travel throughout Fresno.

3. Handle special projects as assigned.

4. Clean up at the work site and inventory warehouse.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum one year experience in performing equipment installation/repair in non-residential buildings preferred.

3. Minimum six months experience performing electrical wiring installations.

4. Knowledge of lighting fixture installation procedures preferred.

5. Good written and oral communication skills with legible handwriting.

6. Attention to detail and acute observation skills.

7. Ability to work in a team environment.

8. Ability to work evening hours and possibly weekends on occasion.

9. Must have a valid California driver?s license in good standing.

10.   Ability to travel with overnight stays.

11. Ability to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.

12. Ability to climb ladders.

13. Ability to use hand tools.
