Production/Reservoir Engineer who is assigned technically challenging, strategically important projects related to the identification and enhancement of hydrocarbon production opportunities and/or operations. Incumbent may direct others in completing projects.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working with geologists and geophysicists, prepares reserve reports and production forecasts on assigned properties as needed;
- Reviews and summarizes work to management and outside auditors for approval;
- Demonstrates multitasking skills, handling increased project volume and more complex problems with minimal supervision;
- Handles broad scope projects, when assigned, to (1) identify associated opportunities to maximize project and/or property value, (2) facilitate understanding by all other relevant colleagues, and (3) take action to implement his/her recommendations;
- Gathers and organizes various types of data such as production, geologic, core, log, PVT, well test, BHP, geographic, environmental, etc.;
- Gathers and organizes various types of information such as equipment specs, government regulations, operating agreements, permit approvals, technical publications, guidelines, reports, etc.;
- Uses gathered data to (1) locate, quantify and produce hydrocarbons, and (2) troubleshoot and/or optimize wells, producing equipment and systems for profitable recovery of hydrocarbons;
- Acts as a lead representative of Company at various inter-divisional, partner and industry meetings;
- May direct a subsurface team consisting of geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers on assigned projects.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Requires a B.S. in Engineering and minimum of 10 years of upstream Petroleum Industry experience;
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software;
- Proficient in an economic analysis software package such as Aries;
- Proficient in a production systems such as Nodal Analysis software package.
