Marketing Account Manager

MARKETING ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

InStar Services Group, a national disaster recovery and restoration company with offices located throughout the United States is currently seeking a Marketing Account Manager to support the efforts of our marketing team. This is an expansion position which will be based in the Raleigh/Charlotte, North Carolina office but will support the efforts of various marketing managers and professionals located throughout the Company. The position will require occasional travel. The following combination of work experience and demonstrated skills will enable the right candidate to succeed as part of our marketing team.

 

This position manages the ongoing marketing and business development of an area to ensure its continued growth, generates and follows up on leads resulting from ongoing business, and tracks activities of estimators. Target markets of responsibility include insurance claims professionals (Adjusters, Agents, Brokers) and property managers (REITS, Multi-Family, Commercial).

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.  Establish and follow up on new leads and contacts prospective clients to establish new local business relationships.

 

2.  Maintain relationships with existing clients through periodic, on-going contact and promote additional business to them.

 

3.  Obtain business from new and existing clients to meet sales goals and projections. Book at least 8 appointments per week and make cold calls the remainder of the time.

 

4.  Represent and market the Company at trade shows and business meetings.

 

5.  Portray a professional appearance and professional behavior at all times while representing the Company in public and to clients.

 

6.  Assist in establishment of local sales goals and budgets.

 

7.  Manage the daily call report and submits it weekly to the Regional Marketing Director. Track activity on events recap sheets.

 

8.  Maintain positive working relationship with clients, coworkers, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Knowledge and Skills Required:

 

? Knowledge of principles of sales and marketing.

 

? Proven presentation skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent personal communication skills. Proficiency in the use of presentation media such as PowerPoint.

 

? Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Outlook, and ACT.

 

Education and Work Experience Required:

? Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years sales and marketing experience, preferably in disaster recovery and restoration or a related industry.

 

? Some college education.
