Mobile Mine Maintenance Technician

Position Duties:  This successful candidate will safely maintain a fleet of Komatsu 930-E haul trucks, Caterpiller support equipment to include D-10N, D-10T, 854 RTD, 690RTD, 834RTD, 16H, 16G, Hitachi EX5500 Shovels, IR-Drills, P&H 2800 shovels.  Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives in a positive manner.  This employee will be responsible for reporting in writing a detail of work activities at the completion of every job.  Participate in Planned General Inspections along with daily pre-shift work inspections.

 

Requirements:

?  Proven safety record required.

?  Excellent attendance record required.

?  Post High School education in diesel technology or related field preferred.

?  Ability to maintain an inventory of personal tools to complete the job required.

?  Three (3) years experience in related field preferred.

?  Formal training or education in diesel technology preferred.

?  Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required.

?  Willingness to work in adverse conditions required.

?  Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, team orientated and work with minimum supervision required.

?  Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
