Coordinate with construction Managers and technical support staff to support and sustain established data coding structures, cost accounting systems and structures, project controls tools, and data quality standards for project budgets, estimates, cost forecasts, cost trends, accrual of actual costs, construction contract and professional services agreement accounting and contract change orders.
Coordinate, integrate and review the work of Project Coordinators to ensure quality and consistency of data input to project controls data bases and reports.
Reconcile program and project controls data with LAUSD fiscal and financial controls systems.
Effectively use a management reporting data warehouse to produce program controls reports and support the production of strategic program planning and execution documents


Requirements:

Requires experience in the application of construction project management cost control systems (Expedition experience preferred) and construction project budgeting and cost accounting applications including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access), to include demonstrated expertise in construction contract cost controls; cost forecasting; change management and control; budget management and documentation; production of construction program and project management fiscal and cost reports, charts, graphics and trend analyses; invoice processing; and document control.
Prefer BS or BA in Business, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field or equivalent.
Must have successfully completed the required OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in Construction Safety
