Plumbing Estimator

 

One of Chicago lands most prominent Commercial, Residential and Design Build Plumbing Contractors, seeks Experienced Plumbing Estimator.

 

 

Ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes;

 

An acute ability to read blueprints and specifications for all architectural and structural disciplines.

 

Review and understand all bid documents.

 

Develop strong and meaningful relationships in the industry continuing to build our book of business.

 

A strong association and understanding of the plumbing trades.

 

Strong communication skills.

 

Have a desire to work in a fast pace results driven environment.

 

Detailed and efficient in all aspects of the roll.

 

Team Player.

 

Responsibilities

 

Will work closely with management to complete project bids in a timely manner and follow through with biddee to obtain the scope of work.

 

Daily activities may include;

 

Bid projects and follow up on all bids.

 

Pricing extras and alternates for bid projects

 

Take Offs.

 

Job costing.

 

Organize the production of blueprints and specifications.

 

Attendance at site walk thru's. retaining the scope of work that needs to be done and put it to bid.

 

When jobs are won, assess the job with the superintendents, which may include on site review of project, making sure all parties are on the same page regarding materials and the scope of work.
