Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager

 

TP Mechanical Contractors, one of the leading mechanical contractors in the Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio regions specializing in commercial and industrial plumbing, piping, HVAC and fire protection is seeking a Project Manager for our Columbus, Ohio office.

 

Responsibilities of this position include:Responsible for the overall profitability of all assigned projects.  Ensure proper timelines and all requirements are met for projects, including billing, change orders, collections.Review job cost, job status, manpower and change order reports to provide analysis on a monthly basis.  Conduct regular/monthly job cost reviews to accurately reflect project profitability and status of all project issues.Communicate and troubleshoot with Project Superintendents, Construction Managers and General Contractors.  Coordinate proper manpower and equipment for each job.  Oversee the buyout process, job-closeouts and project change orders for all projects.  Ensure proper job setup, contract review, estimated costs and schedule of values are done in a timely and accurate manner.Generate project manager reports and attends project management meetings as appropriate.For each project: tracks submittals, generate purchase orders and negotiate subcontracts and purchases.

 

Qualifications are:Must have minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry experience with strong working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC.Must have supervised/managed $500,000 to $5M projects in revenue.Experience with scheduling, planning, estimation and negotiation requiredMust be willing to travel locally.Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and must possess a strong commitment to team building and conflict resolution.
