MWH Constructors is seeking qualified applicants for a Project Engineer for the Steubenville, Ohio office.

Assist in the planning, development, coordination, and management of onsite construction engineering activities for large, extensive projects. This position is a key technical person on projects.

1. Insure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
2. Provide technical and engineering support for construction effort.
3. May develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents. Will perform change order management, issue and track RFIs, perform document control and other related duties
4. May be asked to support construction manager or superintendents as an assistant superintendent for part of the project.
5. May represent company, or support more senior staff during A/E, client and project management meetings.
6. Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
7. Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.
8. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

None

Require 4-year engineering degree and 2+ years of construction engineering experience
Knowledge of construction engineering technology codes, standards, etc.
In-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines

Equivalent combination of related experience and technical training may be substituted.
