Project Manager Multi Family Residential Commercial Construction

W. E.  Lyons Construction Co. Since 1926, an 80 year young, Oakland, California based General Contractor is seeking Project Managers to be part of our continued growth and excellence.  We have a diverse client base operating in multiple markets and growing!

 

Currently we perform General Contracting and Design/Build work for Commercial clientele, Multi-family and select public works projects throughout California.

 

 

Skills and Qualifications


We are seeking people with the following:

 

o  Ability to Estimate - conceptual, hard bid, negotiated and change orders.

o  Thorough understanding of construction management systems including:

o  The change order process.

o  Job costing.

o   And forecasting,

o   Budgeting

o   Purchasing

o  Labor management.

o  Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written technical correspondence on job related issues.

o  Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Blackberry.

o  Ability to create and maintain schedules with knowledge of Primavera or Microsoft Scheduling programs.

o  7 to 10 years experience in Design/Build, Commercial ground-up construction, Multi-Family and/or Public Works projects.

o  Applicable four-year degree from an accredited College or University or equivalent experience.

 

Compensation and Benefits
