Project Manager/Superintendent

 

Leading, full-service commercial construction company with successful history of managing and servicing a wide range of construction projects including parks and recreation, municipal, healthcare, industrial, institutional, office and building services is seeking a full-time Project Manager/Superintendent. 

 

This position will play a key role in managing all aspects of various construction projects from concept to fruition, including coordinating, leading and monitoring the bidding and estimating process, pre-construction, construction and post-construction activities. 

 

Responsibilities:

 Manage, coordinate and control projects ranging from tenant improvement projects to exterior remediation and renovation

Interact with owners, architects and subcontractors

Field supervision (manage and coordinate direct-hire crafts and multiple subcontractors)

Coordinate and assign project delivery schedule

Budget control (develop and manage)

Project quality control, develop and implement operating procedures and standards

Contract administration (cost estimates, proposals, subcontractor agreements, budget revisions and change orders), maintain thorough projects records and documents

 

Requirements

 Minimum of five (5) years experience in managing commercial construction, rehab and renovation projects

Ability to present a positive, professional image

Solid computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as ability to use estimating and scheduling programs (ie. SureTrak)

Ideal candidate will have or develop a market presence and will be well connected within the industry

Ability to develop and cultivate new business relationships and opportunities

Must possess strong technical, oral and written communication skills
