Purchasing and Cost Savings Manager

Key responsibilities include:

 
Solely responsible for all contract and price negotiations with vendors
Aggressively negotiate for lowest possible pricing with all vendors based on schedule provided by Director of Purchasing
Research and maintain database of new vendors for future bids
Communicate appropriate expectations to vendors, i.e. Scope of work
Know our competitors pricing and use it to secure our pricing
Research all areas where our company spends money and find the lowest possible price for each area
Continually evaluate new products for cost savings or greater efficiencies
Liaison between vendors and construction superintendents
Reports to Director of Purchasing

 

Requires production homebuilding experience

Would prefer builder/construction experience
